Leaving for Lake Mohave tonight but the little woman just told me she is going to need to connect to the internet while we're on the house boat! Does anyone know if Willow, Cottonwood or Kathrines has internet connections for her laptop? Like I said we're going to be on a houseboat close to willow, any suggestions?
Thinking of just parking the truck at willow and driving to henderson every third day or so.
PLEASE HELP ME!!!

OK, any particular type?
Last year I had great cell service so I should be good with that.

if you cant get service....
try to find the library/ or a real starbucks (not the small ones in the casinos) in laughlin and you should be able to get a connection like that.
whe we were on vacation in July we went to the library in Vegas every few days for our internet connection

If you have recent laptop it should be wireless ready. If not I've used Linksys with good luck. Be sure to get it working before you go or you may spend a lot of time on the cell with Sajee in India helping you configure it.

Just whip down to the nearest cell shop and talk to them Mines a Sierra 555. they will install it for you. Buy a roof mount antenna with enougn cable. Don't forget the adapter for the card to the cable You should be up and runnin for a couple hundred bucks. The only other thing I suggest is get the best plan you can! With a head set you can phone from it as well.

Katherine's does not have a connection. Libraries do not always, either, but I think that all McDonalds do as well as the Starbucks, as stated before. The library here in Sun City does not have it, and the desk clerk didn't even know what I was talking about at first. :hammerhea I would go with the wireless celullar phone, especially if you have had good service in the past. We have hit and miss service with Nextel. Down by the dam is good.

The wireless cell cards are expensive and they usually require a year commitment to their wireless plan, exclusive of your cell phone service. I think when I signed up with Sprint, it was about $300 for the card and $49/month for a year for the service.
Yo John, Does that work in Parker ??
