Hey Tom......
Do you have phone numbers or a contact so I can talk with the Nevada or AZ Dept. of Nat. Resource guys on the dealio with going to the dam??
It seems like this will be the last weekend before labor day to get all the way to the dam, but then I saw Jordy's note and had some concerns.....
Last two dam runs we couldn't get to the dam and my crumb snatchers were pretty bummed......
If anyone else could help I'd appreciate it........

By the way...what notes from Jordy?
He had written a note about somebody getting stopped in their houseboat that dynamite in it somewhere near the dam???? Dunno.........
I'll call KL and find out what the hello is going on.......
Hey, Got a recommendation for another casino that's got decent boat parking? We usually stay at the Edgewater (so I can add to the casino revenues) vs KL.
Need a place to park a 32'er.........Thanks for the response....

We stayed at the Flamingo at the end of July and had a 28 foot Howard and a 29 foot Essex, we just threw $40 at the boat parking attendent per boat and we got to park in the VIP area. Was well worth the $40 IMHO.

I think the dynamite thing was intended as a joke by the way
I heard it from a couple guys at the lake over the weekend and they were serious about it, granted it doesn't make alot of sense and that's the only time I've heard about it. You figure something like that would be newsworthy. ;)
F Mohave. :D

Damn, whoever it was (and if it happened) is a complete idiot. Glad they caught the focker. I would also think that it would have been newsworthy. I can't believe something like that would be covered up Jordy. Too big not to cover. Blowing up Hoover Dam...DAMN!
Seems to me that you'd need an awful lot of dynamite to blow up Hoover Dam from the downside at the water level as I think it's a couple hundred feet thick there, and while I'm no expert, I think it would similar to lighting a fire cracker in the palm of your hand, versus closing your hand around it. I can't see it doing much other than make a big splash. ;)

Dynamite + water = smart person
I heard of some people snooping around under water in the restricted area of Davis Dam, but my sources have yet to reveal anything about a houseboat at the bottom of Hoover. I'll have to ask around.

Tried to call willow beach DNR guys a couple of times......No answer....The KL rangers station said they knew nothing about it being closed but to call the willow beach guys to see for sure....
I'll repost when I get the skinny......
