This young lady was recently on Oprah and what a loving, forgiving young woman she is. An amazing story of what she has suffered and will bear the rest of her life. Please share this with your friends and especially your teenagers who are driving.

This is Jacqueline's car. She was hit by another car that was driven by a 17-year old on his way home after drinking with his friends. This was in December 1999.

After the accident Jacqueline has needed over 40 operations.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v681/thefictionwelive___/spaz/dd7.jpg
Jacqueline was caught in the burning car and her body was heavily burnt during around 45 seconds.

Now 20 years-old, he cannot forgive himself for driving drunk on that night three years ago.
He's aware of devastating Jacqueline Saburido's life.

Not everyone who gets hit with a car dies. This picture was taken 4 years after the accident and the doctors are still working on Jacqueline, whose body was covered 60% with severe burnings.
..
Please send this to as many people as you can to make them aware of the consequences of drinking and driving.
PLEASE PASS THIS ON TO EVERYONE YOU KNOW!

This really gave me mixed emotions at the same time (sad) (mad) SAD that this jackass did this to her and how she will live the rest of her life, MAD that this jackass was drunk and didn't give a shit about his own life let alone anyone elses. For this reason i don't drink period, never have and i don't think i need to start, i have a good enough time in life and don't need anything to hamper it or alter my state of being cause i don't wan to ruin someone's family, at the same time i hope this doesn't happen to my family.
Enjoy your surroundings and have enough dicipline to know when to stop so you don't hurt yourself or others. :) .........this is not directed to any forum members but just my feelings on this particular subject.
Big Doug. :)

This is an extremely sad thing.
I guess since she was still alive, the doctors were obligated to save her. It is really sad to think of all the pain and anxiety of going through all those operations with that being the end result.
I wonder if she is happy to just be alive in her condition considering her quality of life. It's got to be real tough on her caregivers/family.
