The "cool peeps" are staying at the Golden Nugget. No group rate is available, but the rates are pretty reasonable for that weekend.

Yeah, it was that way last year too. But the other way around....OP6 was one weekend, and AMDR was the next. That's just the way it goes sometimes. We were going to have OP6 in Parker again, but the Bluewater has a big event going and it was sold out that weekend. Soooo.....Laughin it is!!! :D

GA is 20'- 40' deep mostly, unless you are in the far back, where is can be much shallower - up by the beach. If you are like me, and only have 20' of anchor line because you usually drop anchor in 6'-8' of water, you may want to consider hitting Walmart for a longer line (I bought a new 50'er). IF you cannot anchor, there will be boats to tie off to, so you can still come and have a good time. Lets try to have an anchor down for every couple of boats at least though.
Please have at least 2 medium to large bouys - fenders / bumpers - whatever YOU call them, so that you can tie to another boat, or they can tie to you.
We will try not to have boat anchored under the jumping rock on the south side, at the back of the cove.
The 10-day forecast for the 22nd just came up on Weather.com. It's saying partly cloudy, and 87 degrees in the day time, and 63 at night. Forecast wind is 11mph in the day time, and 8 at night. Better bring sweatshirts or jackets if you're planning on a night float. ;)
