There was a guy in Topeka, KS who stole a lady's purse at the checkout of a K-Mart. As he ran out of the store a bunch of men took pursuit and quickly caught him. By the time the cops had arrived the guys had beat the thief to death! Lucky for the thief, the ambulance crew was able to revive him.
No charges were brought against the citizens. The thief, however, went to jail. See, some stories do have happy endings!!!
