This is unbelievable. In Hattiesburg we are going to have a Cat. 2 for 7 hours. Tied up boat to day and left. Water was coming in. We are expecting 25 feet. Absolutely no way to tie for a 25 ft. tide in south Miss. The gusts are supposed to be 215 MPH. The gamming boats will probable be on I10 and for sure our marina will be gone. At least we will get a new one. We for real do not think the boat is going to make it through. Tied up with 1 inch ropes. but there is no way to tie for 170 MPH wind. Power will be out in a few hours so there will be no contact with us. Going to move in the Wilmut building as it has a gen. May go to Merchants for they have a gen also and food.
Follow the storm in N. O. If the dykes are toped and there is a good chance the death count may go into the thousands. New report in the winds are down to 165 MPH.
