They are expecting fuel prices to jump up to 20 cents per gallon in the next few days.
My boat is empty, so I am going to go through the pain in the a$$ to pull it out of the garage and fill it up tomorrow to save a few $$.
They are estimating that fuel will be above $3 per gallon for regular unleaded. I need super unleaded... :burningm:

I'll leave my gate unlocked if you're in the area. Both my tanks are below a 1/4 and I haven't gotten the motivation to pull the cover and hook it up and drag it out, although $3.20 a gallon for super might help me get it done. That might be a tonight project. :(

No, I'm broke. I filled up the aux tank on the truck yesterday thinking that it will be a while before. 110 gallons of diesel in the aux tank and 40 in the normal truck tank.
Just listened to the economy report. Supply is way down at the top 2 refineries. Demand is way too high and prices will be out of control.

I had 3/4 tanks when I was running up to Moabi on Friday. Up and back and around, then out on Saturday to Pleasant, then the same thing on Sunday. Lots of hot laps at high speed. I'm at about 1/4 tank right now on both sides.
When are you taking your boat in the ocean Big Baller? Then we'll talk. Maybe I'll just make your PM my new signature instead because we know which one will happen first. ;) :D

I am close to empty as well and will need 105 gallons to fill up the boat.
I envision this weekend being me launching, idling to Steamboat and sitting there all day swimming and listening to the stereo !!! :squiggle:

Just filled up the Tahoe as they were changing the price from 2.65 to 2.99,thankfully I have a half a tank in the boat that should be plenty . Now I can't drive the Tahoe til the weekend. I also walked to the grocery store today and it is almost 2 miles away(I needed the exercise).

Saw prices today of $3.19 for premium and $3.34 for diesel. Hard to justify using diesel for better mileage since regular is at least $0.50 per gallon less.
I think we're headed to 4 bucks a gallon!

I heard a proposal today to take several of the soon to be closed military bases and build refineries on them. Federal land would take less permiting to close a deal; feds could just push through as a threat to national security.
Me likes!!

the building goes to bid, thats a year with gov work, then the refinery will take a year, then with delays another year,so thats 3 years,,,,be dead by then :supp:

Yes, I think I'll hang out in the marina all weekend. Maybe float over to the dam a few times.
