At the beginning of the summer I was going to join the local swim club so I could have a place to swim all summer. After checkin it out, come to find it was going to cost 380 bucks for the summer. In that retrospect I decided that 380 bucks would put gas in my boat for the whole summer. So the decision was to go boating all summer and hell with the pool. I'll pay a little more for the fuel.
That's my gas thread. :D

Now it will put gas in your boat for the "whole day"!

In my little boat 380 bucks goes along ways. Of course if gas hits 7 bucks a gallon or something like that. Then I'll be crying.

$380 for the whole summer??? I'm spending 2-400 a week....depending if we go 2 or three times. AND that was BEFORE this lame price increase.

I have a 350 Chevy with one Carter carb. I can run all day on a tank of gas.
Specially since I don't wakeboard. I don't run all day long like the boarders. Plus we like to hang on the beach.
Here we are. Hangin.

It's the Sacramento river north of Sacramento. I can get water like that all day long in my secret spot.
Love it up there.
Same place these pics came from. ;)

Ya it's nice as it gets. If you want to get away from people you can do it.
Main reason is there's no launch ramps or gas pumps for miles. So most people only go so far up. I gas all the way up and out distance all the crowds.
It's dream water.

I remember when people used to ski.
Now you can't find water like that anymore on a weekend.
I actually used to barefoot! WOW..good luck seeing anyone do that anymore.

I have a buddy that barefoots. That's all he does.
I tell ya, these days I feel like a dying breed. I see very few people skiing. Some days none. Everyones on a wakeboard. :coffeycup

That's actually quite a ways from there. Alot of the river looks the same.
The delta officially starts at down town Sac and goes down stream. Those pics are about 30 miles up stream.
