I crossed the Colorado just north of the Laughlin bridge @ 36,000' this morning. Had a great view from the Laughlin Casinos (if I put my forehead against the window ;) ) all the way down to well passed the Steamboat area of Havasu. That Topok gorge sure don't look like much from up there.
The river from BHC down to Needles was very low though. The rock bar just down from Willow was well out of the water. I could make out SEVERAL wakes on the river just south of NMP and down towards Moabi though.

I am always one of the few in the airplane craning my neck to look.
It does give a different perspective.
Everyone else in the plane is thinking WTF? it's just desert...
Most days you can see all the way to Glamis, very cool indeed...

LOL! I wish. I dropped my damn camera phone one too many times! :hammer2: I take this trip often on business, and usually get a good view of the river flying back, I'm going to bring my digital next time! ;)
