I was in the market for a used one, but ended up getting a new one, for only $3,500 more. This car is so much fun to drive, its so light, the steering feel rivals a BMW, the seats are awesome and it handles, well, I cant explain it other than AMAZING. I know its kind of "ricey" but for doing 0-60 in 5.6 seconds off the showroom floor for a wagon, it walks the walk.

Great cars, I would love to get one of those STI's. Good mileage to if you keep off the boost. :)

Around 141 mph is what most of the magazines have it pinned at for top speed, I think it can do it. :supp:

Subaru makes a great car, congratulations. How much does one of those cost? I asssume it's a WRX Sport Wagon, correct? How much more is the STI?

Sherpa, milage is between 19 city and 27 highway, but when you are under boost, it can really guzzle gas, plus it takes 91 (ouch)
Dan, yeah, its the WRX sport wagon, sticker was $25,501, but I got a $1500 rebate and they chopped a little more off because the '06 is coming out and we agreed on a small discount. I think with tax and license it was about 26k. The STI starts at around 30k but basically comes fully loaded, very few options on these cars, but for doing 0-60 around 4.5 seconds, driver adjustable center differential, manually sprayed water cooled intercooler, adjustable HID headlights, awesome seats, etc, etc, etc, I think its the deal of the century.
And dmontzsta, I have a turbo back exhaust from a company called Devil, they make motorcycle exhaust mainly, but they do make some automotive stuff as well, supposedly it adds 32 hp to the wheels, I will be puting that on after break in. This is the exhaust alot of the rally guys use, either Devil or Prodrive, so its a rally proven setup (adds power and doesnt hang to low basically)
What I like about the car is that they come fully loaded, 6 disk in dash, dual front and side airbags, 4 ch ABS, Momo steering wheel, fog lights, symetrical AWD, rear viscous limited slip diff and front mechanical limited slip
... I cant be happier.
