Thinking of buying a 2002 Chevy HD with the Duramax engine it has about 39,000 miles lifted with 35/s, and leather..
1. What kind of Milage do you think I/ll Get
2. Is 28,000.00 too much....

1) 15-16ish around town.....16-18 interstate.....
2) What does it have on it.......ie, loaded, LT package......Details.....Sounds a little high but mileage is good.....What was he towing with it....It may be 38K hard miles.....

leather, dvd, airbags, trailer brake system, tow package, power seats etc...

I myself have a 02 duramax and love it. I get better mileage than my buddies newer ones. Ask if there was any power adders(ie: juice, banks, predator, etc.) And has he had any injector probs.? The 01's are the main culprit but the 02's have been known also. I personally haven't had any injector issues. Sounds like it is in good condition and you'll be very happy with it!!

Don't ever buy a truck that has been lifted....or has oversized wheels.....or has towed.....they could be trashed.
That shiat is really hard on the trans and engine....i would never buy a truck like that!!! :wink:
