I gotta pick four NFL teams (with spreads) this week for a season long pool I'm in.
Any standout picks this week? The first couple weeks of the season always seem the hardest.

Check your local sports section in the newspaper. You should have the spreads there.

I would take the Rams minus the points, the Colts minus the points, and the Chargers minus the points. The first couple of weeks are always the hardest but who knows. I think the 49ers still suck and I think Indy can take Baltimore. SD I am a little in the gray area. You are on your own for the other pick you need.

I don't start betting til the 2nd or 3rd week for the NFL or College Ball. Never really know who's got what? But, the Colts and USC will usually cover! It's on like donkey kong next week though! Good betting to you all! :clover:

Hmph...Colts -3 & Ravens ... too tough a pick.
I do like the Rams -5 though
I like SD -4 1/2
How about NE -7 1/2 at home against the Raiders?

Opening day always pick all the home teams. Don't tell any one that though.
It always works. ;)

Uh, don't take Baltimore - their backup QB is a little better than their starter which isn't saying much.

I was 2-2 this week. SD and the Rams let me down. Colts looked good as usual. I'm gonna look for them this year to cover week after week. Pitt broke out with a well played game. Risky bet taking Pitt to cover though. I won't be doing that all year.
