Extreme did them on my 21' Lavey and it looked like they were there since new. I had them set up with alan pins so they could be removed. It was a 1987 Competitive. Call Tony (909/951?) 682-5522

True, but they look very cheesey and don't match. You get what you pay for. Here is a pic of mine on my old boat:

If you have to load your boat buy yourself they might come in handy, I know for me my boat doesn't always center itself, my wife always helps out though...

I had them put on when I lived in Lake Arrowhead during the drought. The ramp was so steep and tilted that it was tough to get the boat on the trailer without ending up on top of the fenders. The shallow V of the old Lavey also made it difficult. The new boat is a snap to put on the trailer. I would never need them on the Stealth.

I prefer side bunks to guide poles but the bunks don't look as nice.
When you float in between 4' long bunks, it's easy as pie to load on the windiest days.

crosswind and/or crosscurrent, keep ending up on fenders when no one else knows how to assist.

Esp if you have a agressively stepped bottom. The trailer has to be deep for the step to clear the back bunks. If you're alone, and there's a wind....forget-about-it!!! The trailer has to be deep, and even with the nose clipped, the boat comes right over the fenders.
I tried to pull out during a storm with only my then 4yo for help. It sucked bad. I really wished I had those things. Someone willing to help finally came by.

if you ever try to put a lavey 2750 on in a strong current by yourself the poles are a big help.i had kustom trailers in cucamonga do mine.had the pin installed so your could take them off and had ladder rungs on one side so i could climb into the boat.
