Did anybody else see this story of flight 93. It was a detailed account of the the 40 courageous passengers and crew that refused to let these terrorist cowards destroy any more of our nations landmarks or innocent people. It gave me a new outlook on this and made me feel that much more proud to be an AMERICAN!
If they replay this again, it is a must see. My wife and I sat there for 2 hours in complete silence because it was that powerful.

The passangers on flight 93 were true Americans. fighting back. Americans don't take sh!t from anyone. the show was almost hard to watch but worth every minute. simply amazing that in the face of death they could perform such courageous acts. Rest in peace flight 93, America thanks you for your heroism.

I watched it with the wife last night. Both of us sat in complete silence. :jawdrop:
Those people knew they were going to die and did their best to prevent it.
It is hard for me to watch these 9-11 recaps cause it stirs the anger and the hatred all up again toward those cowards. F**kers

They were very brave and made the ultimate sacrifice so that possibly hundreds or even thousands could live. Imagine if that plane had been flown into the Capitol building or the White House! Instead they ensured that it was flown into the ground and not a sole on terra firma was injured or killed.
God bless them all and their families. It was tough to watch their family members talking about their deceased loved ones.

Stayed up until 1:00am watching it even though I knew I had to wake up at 4:30am to take wifey to the airport -- it was still worth it.

My dad played this guy, so we watched it. It was strange when my dad got a part in 9-11 movie, since we lost a loved one in the first tower to come down.

John Talignani, 74, from New York, N.Y., was retired. He had worked for 20 years as a bartender and steward at the Palm Restaurant in Manhattan. Taligani was heading to San Francisco to claim the body of his stepson, Alan Zykofsky, who had died in a car accident during his honeymoon. Survivors include his sister, Alice Bertorelli, and two stepsons, Mitchell and Glenn Zykofsky.

Thanks. Doug was a great person. The last check he wrote before 9-11 was to the Make - a - Wish Foundation.
My dad said he felt proud to be able to help preserve peoples memories from 9-11. It means a lot to my sister as Doug was her fiance.

Took my daughter out to dinner for her excellent State school testing and forgot to turn it on later that eve.........
Wanted to watch it and hope to see the re-run(s)......
Knew two people on that plane...One was a BMW Executive and the other(I just found out two weeks ago) was a customer of mine. Very sad indeed.

You have to see it. There is a website where you can buy the dvd for $21.00 and all the money goes to a monument they are building for flight 93. Look under flight93.org, you'll have to search around a bit.
