A great loss to the Off Road Community

Just received the following ........
"Corky" Mcmillin passed away this morning around 2 am at Scripps Hospital in San Diego.
My condolences to the McMillin family.

Ya sad news for sure! He had a heart attack at the Primm 300 race a couple weeks ago and I heard he was doing well since then. Godspeed to Corky and the McMillin family.

i heard about this sad new this a.m. from p.a.b. and didn't even think to run it here, i am not sure that to many of these water jockies know the magnitude of what the mc millin's mean to off-raod racing. like the gordons and herbst - corky will be missed :frown: - keyes
The stories I am reading about Corky right now are unbelievable.

Corky was one of the major reasons that off-road racing still exists today and that is still the great sport it is.
He will be missed by all that new him and even the ones who didn't.
