I've tried 2 times now on seperate occasions and been unsuccesfull both times. You might try a conferance call, that might work.
What they do is make the original person cancel the reservation and have the second call to "take it over"... it hasn't worked that way in my experience. By the time the second person has called, the original reservation is out of the system, and if the hotel is sold out, you're out of luck.
