closed bow 35' Twin500HP w/bravos its like a floating apartment with a frig shower potty microwave and 2 sinks tv/vcr combo ive had it for about 3 years now some of you may remember this boat i got it from havasu at that usa rv and marine some knucklehead put bottom paint on it and put the wrong head and intake gaskets on the 502's so after the rebuilds and paint removal here she is, it still needs cockpit apholstry tho ,hopefully this winter

I remember that boat.
I looked at it when I was shopping and couldn't believe someone would bottom paint a Sonic. It looks nice now.
Did you get a different trailer or modify that one?

well i call it a work in progress it still needs a few things, it came out of salt water so the steering and tab hoses are in need of replacement and so is the apholstry
Deb it really only sleeps 2 but im thinking about making a cushion for the middle of the settes for adittional room

chuck at AZ fiberglass did the paint removal and that dealer took the trailer to ziemen and they made it fit very nice at no cost to me , the trailer was for a 38 formula originally

Sonic builds a nice boat.I was looking at 42 footer a couple years ago but thought it was a little to big for where i was going to use it at.I couldnt decide between ocean or river boat at that time. Also liked the 38 scarab and 38 hustler slingshot.

so, there is a bed and galley and bathroom under the bow?
Sounds like our next boat when the kids don't want to go with anymore
How are the twins, gas wise, power wise, handling?

yes
definately
and twins obviouslt use more gas, i had the ecm's retuned so they dont run so rich (the HP500's are notorious for that) power wise ill get 70 mph at roosevelt ,more at sea level and no probs planing ,handling wise twins are much easier to handle than a single for docking and such because you can reverse 1 with 1 in forward and the boat will spin on its axis

Looks like you gave the boat a second life.
You should contact Don Baca at Triad Marine (http://tpmarine.com) - he'll hook you up with the Hyd Steering/tab hoses (Stainless).
The wifey and I really like the right coast boats for larger boat sizes.
Congrats and thanks for sharing. :)

The wifey wants a 32-35 beak boat - who am I to argue?
We'll see what happens, my only requirement is blue motors.
Figure start heading down to the coast...keeping the little Hallett (if I ever drop the new motor in) for local lakes and Parker.
Just don't like any of the larger West Coast customs.

yep the beak boats are sweet too and definately get the blue motors maybe 525's that size range i just couldnt pass on the price of this one
