Thought that only happened to the "Ford Expolder"? How'd the Expedition catch on fire? House ok or just lose the garage?

Expedition, F-150's they all had that same problem. House is fine. They just started to rebuild the garage last this week.

is that the cruise control membrane thing that breaks and leaks fuel?
Yes but it doesn't leak fuel. Aparently it shorts out internally after the ignition is turned off and burns from there.

Info , can you confirm to the fact that my 72 Spectra V-drive has a 1970 LS-6 engine? I have 500hrs on it and it hasn't been apart yet to check inside. Removal of the valve cover reveals the 'high-performance' stamping on the head and have the TRII rectangle intake . Here are the numbers. Serial #T0706CRR . According to my books , the "CRR" supposed to be a 70 Chevelle
engine to be equipped with TH400 . The casting number is 3999289
and this number indicates a 1972 . What's up with that ? Thanks.
