Who knows of a good place to purchase an ATV? Looking for a Kawasaki KFX 400 or a Suzuki 400 for the hubby. Any ideas? We are in Corona.
Thanks,
Mrs.HLB

Where is he going to ride it most? Those 400's are fairly slow compared to what is available now.

Lake Perris area, trails etc. Maybe Glamis..The 400's are not fast enough? What do you suggest?

honda or yamaha 450's are killer and the new yamaha raptor 700efi is the shit.
as for the best deal around L.A.Yamaha, L.A.Suzuki,L.A.honda can't be beat. call for their OUT THE DOOR price and then compare. some times you can get local shops to match their price or come close so you don't have to drive to L.A. but not always. do a search and think you'll see most members here in so cal agree. good luck :D

How big is he? The new 450's are great. Suzuki just released their new r450 that should be really trick, it is efi.
I am 6'2" and about 215#. The 450's are small to me and not that comfortable to me, and I have really tried to like them.
The Polaris Predator, which is a bike I just sold was a great bike and has much more power than the Suki/Kawa and Honda 400s. With a pipe and jetted, it was faster than stock 450s. The new Predators now have reverse and the suspension is decent on it. For trails and the occasional dune trip the 2006 Predator wpuld be my 2nd choice, with the new Raptor being my first choice.
I ordered a new Yamaha Raptor 700. It is an efi bike that has a lot of power but is also comfortable for taller riders. They really based it off of the yamaha yfz 450, but made it just a little bigger.
It isn't that he wants to go 70 MPH on a quad, but the 2 bikes I talked about have much more torque and power. The Suzuki 400s that I have riden, have felt so much more weak compared to the other bikes I listed above. The Predator will cost about $1200-$1500 less than the Raptor out the door as well.

Be sure to just get to their "out the door" prices. I am buying my Raptor 700 for $7500 OTD just to give you an idea on where to be.

If he's stuck on Suzuki, have him wait a month or so. The new 450 Suzuki's will be hitting the showroom floors soon. Buying a 400 now wouldn't be the wisest choice. ;)
