I just went up there to check it out. I was able to see it from some land that's being developed. I talked to the contractor. He was cool with me and let me check it out, as he was doing the same. Sorry, I know they're not too spectacular.

WOW those are some sick fires..
with the exclusion of the fireman on here, I dont think people really understand how hot , how intense and how quick these fires move....
IT is down right scary....

Yeah, it is. Looks like it's covered a lot of ground already. The contractor was telling me that no one was working anywhere near where the fire started. It's probably some a-hole that started it.

You know it. Even though I'm just a volunteer fire chief and vice president of the glenn county fire chiefs assoc I really feel for these guys. I have only been to a few wildland fires but I was running a tanker truck. The fire chiefs assoc along with usdf raised money to commemorate the local dept members that lost there life in the Rattlesnake Fire 50 years ago this year. We raised money for crosses where each member had passed and a information board where people could read the history of the fire. A few weeks after the info board was put up some ass used it to sight in his rifle.
Hats off the the boys in yellow nomex.

What a phuckin jerk! It sucks to see how people just have absolutely NO respect, especially for something like this. That's terrible.
