I thought Freddie Mercury died a few years ago? What's he doing pretending he knows how to ride?
It looks like the HOG won't even fall over with those low pegs???? But it dumped him pretty good. Even the bike knows what to do...LOL :D

Look at the front tire, he locked it up momentarilly. Looks like operator error to me...... Not that I could do any better, I stay away from things with 2 wheels. :squiggle:

Here's another thing to think about. i wonder how far over the edge the bike went before it hit something solid. This guy did what most of my MSF student do. Panic and hit the front brake. Dooohhhhhh. Poor guy is most likely still cussin the poor bike even though it did nothin wrong. I feel sorry for the bike.

Dress for the crash, not the ride. That looks to be very painfull, I hope the skin grafts take.

In the first image, the riders clutch hand is off the handle bars. It appears that he is pointing at something; also he is positioned as if he was making a slow speed right hand turn, and he should be leaning into the turn as the rider behind him is doing.
This position gives you a false sense of how far over the motorcycle is leaning; I can scrape the screws on my HD holding my mufflers in places on turns that are a lot milder than that one he is taking.
It does appear that he panicked and locked up the front wheel, most of my brake applications are tandem types with no transmission shifting during the turn.
In my only mishap in ‘79 on my 1978 750 Honda Super Sport (with 4 to one exhaust), I entered a freeway ramp at an excessive speed and crashed into the concrete curb. I ended up with a knot on the back of my head and had to drive home with bent handlebars and the light pointing up and the left side of my self and the bike with scrapes galore.
I do believe that speed, alcohol, drugs, and chicks that don't know how to ride can cause accidents.

He may want to invest in a crotch rocket if he plans on doing maneuvers like that. :hammer2:

He just changed the HD motto.
Learn to ride. Ride to learn.

I used to ride the "Devil's Highway", old Rte 666, in Az on a regular basis during the summer. From Morenci going north, it was almost 90 miles of road like that.

Been riding since I was about 6. Fortunately, managed to get all of my "educational' crashes to happen when DIRT-biking. You are a lot more likely to crash riding off-road. You are a lot LESS LIKELY to be SERIOUSLY INJURED when crashing off-road. Other than dodging idiots in cars, I have only come close to laying a street-bike down once, and it was a combination of an 18-hr work day, 2AM, tired, in a hurry, 10 blocks from home and SOBER (my Ninja has never seen me consume anything but Coca-Cola). The bike saved itself, and me along with her, at a low speed, in a sandy curb cutout in a parking lot entrance (about 15mph). Is pretty "interesting" to feel both ends slide sideways together.
Yep, dude leaned over too far for a HD (entered the corner too fast). I suspect that by the time he scraped to make the sparks, he was done. The only question is did he lock the tire first, causing the slide-out, or did the tire lock as weight was transfered to the frame AWAY from the nose-traction. Doesn't matter much, he was screwed either way. I'll bet he learnes SOMETHING.
My 1st slide was at a lake, age 7, wearing shoes & trunks. Road-rashed the ribs (f-ing washboards and a Honda trail-50 suicide-bars). Never rode shirtless again.
2nd slide was faster, on a trail 70, also washboard road. Ground up a knee and muffler burned a calf (inside, full length). Never rode in shorts again.
Never got injured crashing a REAL (wide-handelbarded) dirt bike, but broke a Suzuki RM80 (in half), flipped a Honda XR80 quite spectacularly (it was spectacular while I was off of it rolling in 6" of powder), crashed a 185cc 3-wheeler, all to no injuries. I ALWAYS wear long clothes, shoes, usually combat boots, leather gloves, and leather jacket (yes, even at 100F), and will not leave a parking lot or my driveway helmetless.
I have also taken and passed a MSF course, and will never say that was a waste of time. Good training.
