Aren't you glad were on this side.
These are Great Inflight Photos of the F/A-22 as the first Aircraft Delivery was being made to Langley AFB in Va.. Langley is to be first Operational AFB for the F/A-22. It is a very Beautiful AFB, located in a picturesque
location, as you can see in these photos, near Norfolk and Hampton, Va.
The Aircraft flying along with the F/A-22 in the last of these photos is the F-15, which will be replaced by the F/A-22 which is several times better than the F-15.
In Actual Inflight (simulated) Combat Operations against the F-15, two F/A-22's were able to operate without detection while it went Head to Head against (8) F-15's. The F/A-22's scored Missile Hits (Kills) against all the F-15 Aircraft , and the F/A-22's were never Detected by either the F-15's or Ground Based Radar.
Maj. Gen. Rick Lewis said: "The Raptor Operated Against All Adversaries with Virtual Impunity; Ground Based Systems Couldn't Engage and NO Adversary Aircraft Survived"!!!
F/A-22-- America's Most Advanced Fighter Aircraft for the 21st Century!!!!
Enjoy the Photos

Very cool! Makes you wonder what is currently going on at Area 51...maybe the Aurora, maybe something more advanced?

Cool!
Now if they come up with a decent armored cruiser to save some lives on the ground in Iraq, we'll be set.

They are part of the US Air Force.
I thought it only right that I salute the Eastern CanadiEn Air Force for all their help in the "War on Terror".

Exactly. Who are we going to fight in the air?
As a former pilot in the AirForce I love airplanes, but in this day and age, we need equipment to fight a totally different kind of war.

You too can have one for only $329 million dollars.
The government is only getting 218 now instead of the intital 750 they originally ordered.

The F-15 Strike Eagle III is my favorite fighter and for it not to be able to pickup the Raptor is saying a lot. The F-15 had one of the most sophisticated radars for its time, one of the few fighters that could track mulitple flying objects at the same time. I will miss it, but I think our reserves will still be using them for a while.

If there is a show, the "Double Deuce" will be there. They are a GREAT recruiting tool!

Don't push it Mark... :crossx: I saw Canada's F18 (yes the only one) fly over the other day, so you watch out.... :D :D
I tried getting a picture of my wife driving beside me with one of her boobs flopped out for you, but it didn't turn out...
