Ya, It sounds like he still is shifting while the car is going into the other lane! :hammerhea

He was squirly right off the line and sounded like he shifted/gassed it in the marbles in the center of the track. He's one lucky SOB. When I saw him standing there I first thought it was a track worker it happened so fast..
Car looked a little patchworked anyhow....now (luckily) he can restart the patchwork.

how did he get on a track without good belt harness to keep him in. i have had my chevelle hook and it was some scary shit. that is all it took to keep me from street racing ever agian. and the dumb asses in ontario. with slicks the side wall are not very strong and they flex and wobble. and are really dangerous to run radials up front with them.
that was incredible he stood up. proably shit himself but stood up none the less

That car looked worn.......wheel hop off the line got him crooked asap and kept weaving...looked more like he was slalom racing

that's an old video. That's the old Fremont/Baylands race track. It's been closed for well over 10 years already.
I grew up a couple miles from there. Used to hear the top fuel cars from my front yard on the weekends.
I miss that place.

I'll bet he picked up lane choice with that 10.76.

I think he builds cars and boats like me. I always have some nuts and bolts left over sitting in a pan. Look like they came from the front seat and front suspension. :D
