I used to have a '77 CJ-7 w/ V8, automatic trans, and hard top... my grandparents gave it away for some reason?

My dad has a 78 CJ-7 that he never drives. it is an automatic full time four wheel drive, Low range V8 bored out and rebuilt there is also a dial in the glovebox that you turn when you get realy stuck. i don't know if it for a locker or what. My dad was the factory rep for Jeep or (AMC) back in those days and he special orderd it himself picked it up right off the train. It just sits now. No rust good paint seats and all are good dash and carpet are also good. we try to tell him to sell it but it is his baby and he won't do it even though he never drives it.. :crossx: :crossx:

The OG Quadra-trac.... pretty cool... full time 4WD.
The knob in the glove-box locks the T-Case into low range.
If it's unmolested, that is worth a little money to the right people, I would end up hacking it up. :hammer2:

205 t-case, sm465 4 sp tranny with granny low.
35" bf goodrich mud ta's on eagle 589's.
rear powertrax extreme traction system.
total of 5 3/4 inch lift with no blocks.
9 dick cepek off road lights with kc covers.
dual front shock kit (not installed yet).
dual steering stabilizer.
bolt in cab roll cage.

I've got over 30K into it....(worse than boating :hammerhea ). My plan is to put it on ebay with a 15K reserve. It's realistically one of the best Scramblers around. Not the best, but maybe top 15. I need to find some pics. They are around in some file on this machine.

Probably the low range shifter... though I'm not sure without looking at it.
