NEW ORLEANS - The NFL will consider relocating the Saints to Los Angeles if New Orleans is unable to recover from Hurricane Katrina, the Washington Post is reporting Thursday, citing three sources familiar with the leagueÂ’s deliberation on the matter.
The Saints have been based in San Antonio since they were forced out of the Crescent City by the hurricane in August. But sources have said the NFL has no interest in the Texas city as a permanent home for the club.
L.A. is the second-largest television market in the country and has been without an NFL team since the Raiders moved back to Oakland after the 1994 season.

Still hard to believe one of the biggest cities in the country has gone that long without a team.

Exactly! I rather have no team and the double-headers on the Sundays.

Direct T.V is the only way to go......only downfall is I don't get a damn thing done on Sunday around the house.

I'd gladly dis-own my Rams and become a Saints fan. I can only take so much of St.Louis' dumbass moves

Not when you take into account that LA keeps offering to fix up the run down Collesium (sp) instead of building a new venue in a new or better location.
