or Candy in your bag when you were a kid? I would have to say RAISINS and
a package of Cup O Soup. Yuck.
How bout you?

I used to like to go to my Dentist's house and get a Snickers bar, though that is more ironic than anything...
I would have to say the little pepermint hard candies were the worst. I like raisins though...

I've never had anyone do that........nor would I trust anyone to fill my glass, thats crazy.

I don't remember shitty stuff but a couple things that were really cool are that my brothers used to go to all the neighbors the next day and say "treak or treat left overs" They always made out. Even if people didn't have left over candy, they got dounuts and stuff. Another cool year was when my daughter was in 5th grade and I went with her. (my son had gone trick or treating with the neighbor kid) Anyway, one house had the garage open and all the adults were drinking so of course I joined them for a quick wine cooler, and another house just had pizza delivered so we got fed too.

We ran out of candy, right after we got married. We had three bags of milky way type candy when we started. Around 7:30 we had a big pack of kids take the last of it. Then, knock, knock, "trick or treat"! I ran all over the house looking for mints from our wedding and all I could find were little bread stick packages. We got away with it one the first group of four kids, but our luck soon ran out. This 13 YO looks down in her bag and yells, "THEY'RE HANDING OUT THESES THINGS"!!! and shows all of her little buddies. A big "EEEEWWWWW"!, rolls through our entire neighborhood followed by "THAT SUX"!!!!! We had nothing left to do but close the door and turn out the porch light. 20 minutes later, Denise finds two more bags of Milky Ways, but by that time the word was out on the "CHEAP AZZHOLES" down the street. :notam:

I've always gotten more candy at christmas than halloween. Talk about a crappy present, I'd rather have the money in an envelope. That used to piss me off as a kid when my mom would make us write thank you's for gettin a crappy box of candy.

It's the only way to do the trick or treating. Sometimes the bro in law and me team up and take the boys with a six pack of tall boys. It's almost fun wondering the streets. :D :D :D

That candy from another country that you can't read the words :lightsabe and it's been opened...................
The best Halloween Treat I've ever received was in 1976, we (yes I was 16 and still trick or treating) we went to a neighbors house and he played "Foxy Lady" for us on his electric guitar :D :D
I give big candy bars to our neighbor kids and smaller ones to the ones we don't know, except this year, Scream beat me to buying the candy, hope no one is dissapointed................

Last year on Halloween, I went to the grocery right after work. I picked up a bunch of candy and some groceries.
I was walking up the driveway at about 5 pm when a very young girl, maybe 4 years old, tugged on my pant leg. "Trick or treat".
My arms were full of grocery bags but this girl was so cute, I had to give her something. I grabbed the first box off the top and gave it to her. Stuffed salmon with broccoli.
I'm not sure she appreciated it but it was better than giving out bread sticks. :D

I was walking up the driveway at about 5 pm when a very young girl, maybe 24 years old, tugged on my pant leg. "Trick or treat".
For some reason I thought this was going a different direction when I started reading it. Good choice on the salmon and broc Tom.

Any "healthy" treats usually fell out of my bag on the way home.
My wife won't let me do this, but I always joke about giving the little hot sauce and ketchup packets from fast food places. Get the kids all excited by giving them big handfuls of them, and have the lights just dim enough that it would be difficult to tell......It is "TRICK" or treat....right? I have kids, and I would think it was hillarious if they came home with these packets....but if they were like me, they would stomp on them at the front door of the house that gave them. :D
