I like your speaker pods, but be sure to make enclosures for the woofers....Both sealed at 30 litres....

Next time use fleece or sweat shirt material. Much easier to work with than grill cloth.

I made these with fleece last week.

Too thick. That's three separate speaker rings on different planes. You have to see it to understand the setup. The grill cloth will give me the basic shape so that I can glass on top. I would have lost a lot of detail with fleece.
Not too thick or lost detail if you would have accounted for it when you mounted the rings together :D
The only thing about using grill cloth is that you end up with much more finish work on the outside of the panel. Fleece would have been pretty much finish work on top with structural support added to the back of the panel...
You working at WFS now? :D

We get the big bucks for our finish work. :D
If you had seen Toby's requirements for mounting these, you'd have squeezed them together too.
Toby, I'm getting ready to start the rear today, give me a call when you have a chance.
whata talking about? im soooooo easy to please. Just make them perfect and exactly like I stated :)

Not so much a question, but THERE'S NO WAY I'm putting the Stinger connectors on top of that Odyssey in the billet DCB bracket. There's like 1/8" clearance from the bracket and they don't fit that well. I'll use round head allens.
Is the billet piece powdercoated as powder coatings are notconductive...
