Honda gen Mounting [Archive]

Anyone have pictures of the Honda generator mounted in their engine compartment? Either that or some ideas.
While I'm at it, how about battery mounts?
Any help is greatly appriciated.

Get hold of Boatfloating (Rocky), he had a really nice billet mount for his Honda generator.

I'm guessing that you just put a couple of eye bolts in and the rubber strap?
That's a very good looking engine compartment. Very nice.

Here is my mount. It's held down by at strap. It works really well..

Yes. But there are also little cups for the feet of the genny to fit in.

Yes. Hopefully I don't blow up. :220v:
For any problems to happens the fuel line would have to come off and then I would have to start the generator.

Is there a reason the exhaust line on your genny has that tall arch on it?

does your gen pull fuel from the boats tanks or do you use the tank built in to the gen??

It was made as a one off. Shouldn't be that difficult to have someone make one.
