Thought you would dig this Karl!
So last night I built this with some borrowed wheels and brakes (thanks NR!)..

As much fun as I've had on a dirt bike since well, last week....
http://www2.***boat.com/image_center/data/520/2154ButtonWillow_CRF-SM.JPG
Then I drift over to see the Ford Club guys racing and I see this...
http://www2.***boat.com/image_center/data/520/2154ButtonWillow_OSGT2.JPG
And these were turning fast laps...(there were 4 total out there)...
http://www2.***boat.com/image_center/data/520/2154s2.JPG
Then these guys showed up, a little out of place, on their way to the B1K...

ButtonWillow raceway, it's a little out there, so it's good for about 20 years...
I've seen the GT's before, but hadn't seen them at the track...

Today was practice, I was just playing some.
The last hour all the big boys showed up.
What's the guy's name, I'll keep an eye out?
Tomorrow is race day.
Just over 1 month then I'm off my hiatus...

Sorry for the late reply.
I didn't see Jason Mc (#564) out there on Sunday. If he changed his number I can't follow, but I didn't see him listed as qualifying.
Sorry.
My buddy finished 1st in Beginner and Novice classes.
I'll post more Ford pics in a little - thought you'd like that Karl.
It was a Ford SVT Owners Association deal...
I'm not sold on the streetbike 4 stroke for offroad deal yet, but it's the only way on the pavement. Gawd their loud though....

Ride my 650 and you will discover the meaning of Torque, the more you short shift the faster you go.
and I think Dia. is hearing voices again :D

I rode a friend's kitted 650. Amazing bikes, kudos to you guys that can handle it. It felt (no exageration) like I was riding a streetbike - smooth, plush suspension - off road. You can see why they win Baja. It topped out a little faster than my 500. We figured it went about 115... Scary fast!
There were 2 CR500's out there with all the 450's and 250's, they were the quietest bikes on the track.. :notam:

Buttonwillow is a great track - fun and pretty fast with a lot of room for safe, off-track excursions :D

Yeah it was nice to see these guys really driving the GT's, I was surprised. I'll have more pics up tonight.
A lot of really trick Mustangs, only a few of the newest version, mostly the last model. They looked to handle much better than the newer ones, but I'm guessing they've had a lot more work done to them. A lot of blowers whistling by...
With that No.66 out there it was like the old Mark Donohoe days, whenever a GT went by I was hoping to see a Gulf Porsche on it's ass...

whats scary is when I am WOT on the parker loop, and I get passed by a good 20-30mph by a White Brothers XR-600/720kit, MAJOR SACK!!!!!!, because I know just how hard it is to get these beasts whoaed down, and your dead on mine tops out right at 115mph maybe 120 with you as the rider :D
