TV question,my home tv is a new 50 inch sony, projection LCD.It goes black at times, flickers a bit then poof, sound still works, then it comes back after a few seconds or a minute or two,or if I switch channels sometimes its back.I had major electical issues in this house, elecricians wire some stuff wrong on the same circuit as my Tv room, already fried a speakercraft sub.So is my Tv now showing signs of troubles? The cable CO was here last week, they said signal was fine....any ideas?thanks

If you think it's a voltage issue, connect it to another outlet with an extension cord to test.. Preferably an outlet not on the same circuit.

You should use some type of protection, like a Monster power center, never plug your TV straight to the outlet. You could have done some damage, but you wont know for a while, I hope you didn't though damage anything though.
