Anybody familiar with a component system that utilizes a 6x9 as the driver? 2 way?, 3 way? I am familiar with the MB Quart Ref Convertible...just wondering if there is anything else out there. My hope would be to find a 6x9, w 4inch, and tweet.....any help is appreciated...

Not many seperate 6x9's out there... To get the set you want, you're probable going to have to buy the 6x9 combo and add a 4: mid as a part...
Infinity use to have something called the 6800CS
MBQuart's set
Most mfg's do offer a 2 or 3 way 6x9 with an external crossover.. Atleast I know MB, Boston, Focal, and Polk do....

Well, it's not a 6X9, but I hear these are increadible. I run their 6X9 4-ways, but these are supposed to be really clear:

Thanks for all the feedback....I am going to figure something out....Can't find a three way, but may have to go with a 3 way 6.5 or 7 inch driver...

CDT Audio also sells all of their mids as separates. You could use the 6x9 set and add a CF-4 mid. In my boat, I'm going with the 4 pairs of EF-51CV and adding a pair EF-6 Carbon Fiber mid to each set.
Very nice!
