Does anyone have a good hook up with Giant RV
for a Weekend Warrior.I was quoted on a 26' with aluminum
sides with everything 30498.00 before tax. Is that good?
Seems to me there should be better pricing on this.or am
I asking to much.

Probably a good guideline is a 1k a foot. Unlike a boat which is about 3k a foot.

Warrior's are over priced to begin with. I would look at a gear box before buying a WW. Try Affordiable RV in Ontario, two friends of mine bought 38' fifth wheels fro $38K.

I agree. I have had two Forrest Rivers with zero problems. Family RV in Irvine is great.
I would suggest going to Travelland USA in Irvine, Its like an auto mall for RV's. Lots of diffrent brands right there to compare. Its off the 5 and sand cayon.

I had a Gearbox and had nothing but problems with it. Once Fleetwood finally bought it back, I went with a Weekend Warrior FSC3200...The unit was great!! I had every option installed (ie. fiberglass, slideout, generator etc, etc, etc....) and got it out the door for a little over 36K. (MSRP: 43K)...I would reccomend going with Warrior, but that's just my opinion. I know alot of other people that have Gearbox's, Sandpiper's, Tahoe's and love them. This is just my opinion...I bought it through the internet sales department at Giant R.V in Monclair. Ask for "Ernie" or "Internet Bob." Two great guys that cut right to the chase for pricing.

I have a 37ft weekend warrior 5the wheel. The layout is great, options are great, colors are great.Quality and craftsmanship is crap, dont think for a second its build better than any other trailers out there.Ive owned it for six months,it been in the shop for almost 2 months getting things repaired. Its been at weekend warrior factory and where I bought it,Beaudry Rv.They are fixing everything with no questions or arguements, but a 6 month old 50k trailer with a list of issues thats a page long!!.....its my last WW,,pm me if you need more info!

I love my WW and the next one will be a bigger WW when the time comes. Between all our frineds w/ trailers... we have a good variety of the brands/makes... they've all encountered problems... They are put together fast... they all are, then you travel w/ them offroad a little and things jolt around... problems are bound to happen... minimal hopefully. But of course some have worse problems than others... of the same brand for that matter. To me, that price sounds good... and I'd call Giant RV in Murrieta if it were me since that's where we got ours at and they made the deal w/ the price we would only do.... Good luck w/ whatever you choose!

If you're not stuck on a Weekend Warrior give Loydd @ Country Roads a call(928) 565-5638. Tell him Dusty sent you. I bought a smooth side 38' Sandpiper with the seperate garage in the rear and love it. Nobody can come close to his pricing and the taxes are less.

That sounds way high to me. Post the retail price with options and I'll tell you what the price should be with a good deal before tax.
Weekend Warrior seems like the best trailer to me. That is only my opinion. I have owned 1 and take delivery of my new one in the next 2 weeks.

I'm kinda leaning towards Tahoe. They're built by Skyline. I've seen how WWs are built, materials and labor. Also have observed Forest River, labor and materials. From what I've seen quality control at Skyline far exceeds anybody else. They keep their "raw products" inside under cover from the elements. Their assembly line hands above anybody else. Also have observed all of the "bring backs" to the various mfgs. Seems Skyline has the least. I vote Skyline.

Pretty much the same story here. LE3505 which I bought last year (WW) because they DO build the strongest floor, (aka HEAVY!)l ongest warranty. Inside, they are nothing special as far as quality goes. I've had more problems than I would like to deal with on what is supposed to be the best. They do have the billet edition going for them however. And the stongest ramp at that time. They were the only ones who said, SURE!, you can put a car in there.
If you HAVE to have a WW, I suggest Double D in Fort Mohave!

One word of advice, before you sign on the dotted line....be sure to hook up to the trailer you decide on and take it to a scale wet so you can tell how much you can put inside, mine maxes out my 2500 rear axle with nothing inside!

Every option in the world and the Sandpiper Sport is still way under 40K
A friend just grabbed one this morning and is dune ready. I think they threw in a slider fith wheel hitch too.

I'm towing with a 3/4 ton 4x4 Suburban 2003.My tow cap is 9600 pounds.The WW 26' is 7625 pounds.The Next Level 28' is 8000 pounds should I just get the Next Level 1500.00 difference.

I figured $39k retail, and with the discount that I have found is close to their bottom line...
$29,640.
I have purchased 2 Weekend Warriors using a 24% discount factor off of retail pricing. So $39k - 24%

I'm sure that all the other trailers are the same, but put a Warrior up for sale next to another brand and I think the Warrior is gone weeks before the other. That is why I am buying another.
I sold my last Warrior in less than 24 hours from when it hit the trader in August.

was the big reason we went with a WW,also we like the billet interior. If you take it to WW for warranty work,Dennis in service is good, the customer service warranty tech guys are idiots,so by-pass them,go straight to the service managers.Thats what the biggest problem on mine was.Other than the long list of issues. It in the shop again as we speak, getting new carpet from the leaking roof,,nice huh :yuk:
