Purchasiing Carrera Effects 257 Deckboat

My Aunt & Uncle are looking at purchasing the Carrera 257 Effects Deckboat. I would like to hear the pros & cons from all the boaters out there. If you have one, what was your relationship with the builder, any comments will be greatly appreciated.

tell them to WAIT a little bit longer...... I was crawling all over the new 26ft DCB deck boat......gonna be pretty nice. new 26 and 30ft decks coming very soon!

Phebus has one. Looks pretty nice to me. Lots of room.

I posted a reply in C&T's. We love ours, and yes, driving the boat from the back 1/3 took a little getting used to, but it's nice while at the helm to see what's going on without turning around.
Ours has the 496HO, and does around 63-65 during the summer loaded to the gills, comes on plane well, and does very well in the chop.
