This came today, along with an attachement. I didn't open it. I also got two Wells Fargo scams, two B of A scams and a fake Paypal email... Whole lot of "phishing" goin on 'round here. :mad:

If the Feds want something from you they are going talk to you in person...not send an email.
But, just in case I'm wrong you should reply to that email with your SSN#, bank account numbers, credit card numbers, date-of-birth, DL#, etc.

i got something similar but it was from the CIA. didnt bother to even open it. suspicious, it had to do with ip adresses too.

I work for a IT dept in a big company and we had the same thing at our place. Our resources says it's a hoax.....

Yep, it's a scam. If the FBI OR CIA want answers to questions, they'll ask them PERSONALLY, maybe in a darkened room, for hours & hours, with only 1 light in your face, for sure not by e-mail. The sender might be prosecutable if traceable. Wonder if FBI knows about it?
On a side note, by law, the CIA is NOT ALLOWED to operate as an inteligence agency within the US. Foreign nations only. FBI has complete jurisdiction for domestic inteligence gathering. This split was set up way back in the days of the birth of CIA after WWII with Hoover running the FBI with an iron fist, and guarding his territory.
