We didn't end up making it out to the desert bar at all. My bro and I both ended up getting flats in our trucks and I couldn't find anyone with an extra 33" tire so I didn't wanna roll my Ranger out there. And we spent half of Friday getting my bro's tire fixed at the local tire shop because it was packed. By the time we were gonna head out there is was already like almost 3pm and it closes at dusk so we figured we'd be wasting our time. I'm sure we missed a good time.
You gonna be up for New Years??? We are gonna be out and we are going to have a New Years Eve party...you guys should roll out.

I know all to well about those tire shops!!!! Still have one lone Toyo M/T and 3 BFG's on the caddy from a flat out there. We hit the desert bar around 1 on Fri. afternoon. Way too crowded! We had to park on the lower flats and hike in. Plus 30 minute beer lines. You guy's didn't miss much. Sat. we just hung out at our park and had some bbq/beers and B/S'd with R.Gordon at Blue Bar all afternoon. We did manage to eat at the cantina and shugrue's that night(long story).Overall good weekend...Not sure about New Years yet

The one in my avatar was a professional photo/movie shoot we did for a Fabtech commercial. There are tons available over on Race Dezert.com (http://www.racedezert.com)

I was wondering about that particular boat but any feedback you can give would be great. What motor/drive package do you have? What speeds are you seeing with it?
THANKS

Stock HO, runs 70 all day, but it is not enough. Also has XR drive with dual hydraulic steering so I am thinking about throwing some more power at it.

Eliminator is claiming 80's all day with a 525 in it. Sound about right to you?

Hey Chris~
My bro and I were at Eliminator today looking at it and it seems pretty clean. Is he planning to buy a 28 Daytona? Haven't talked to him yet because we aren't 110% ready to go but I will call him soon. Thanks for the info.

Its too big...won't fit in our garage and we really don't want to blow the garage out at this point so we are sticking with something in the 26-27 range.

Not completely sold on the OB's otherwise we would be buying Xfactors ride. A single 525 seems a lot easier overall.

Low to mid 80's, wouldn't doubt it. Those 525's are very solid, and a tad underrated with regards to hp outage in my opinion.
