2001 Yamaha YZF 426. Its in killer condition! Never raced, Vet owned, Low miles! I don't ride this thing anymore and its taking up space in the garage at the river. I'm asking $2900 OBO. I'll be bringing it home after new years or if your around Topock. You can take a look at it there. E mail me at "kidkartdad2@yahoo.com"
I'll say sorry to the kittens ahead of time, I dont have any pics cause the bikes not here. But you should know what they look like.

I would love to start riding again. The only problem is this time issue. I don't have any now. Then my dumbass would go out and buy the new 2006 because if I am going to spend the money, I might as well spend the money. :)
Jen isn't big on riding so it makes it more difficult.

Like I said, I'm a dumbass. :rollside: I probably shouldn't own two boats either. :)
Sounds like a good deal though.

Follow suit and buy this one, then go out and buy a new one once you get back in the swing of things, then you'll have two bikes.

Is it, or can it, be street legal?

I know you can make the WR street legal, They sell a kit. I would think the only difference would be that you would have to add the lighting coil to the YZ's. Is Nevada as good as Arizona is about that stuff? My buddy made his WR street legal in AZ.

I have a WR450 and those steet legal kits aren't cheap, also don't forget DOT tires front and back.

I would not recomend making the YZF Street legal, it really isnt set up for that type of riding, we road one in the 02 Baja 1000 and it worked but we changed the gearing and did alot of other mods. I am not sure if it has the same oil capacity as the WR you really should check into that, I know the Honda does not. Good Luck
