Nearly every hit in that video is now illegal in the NFL. Helmet to Helmet contact. Bring back the old rules. QB's are game, horse collars, and helmet to helmet contact.....only the strong survive

I had season tickets to the LUV YA BLUE Houston Oilers. The play book for the first 3 downs was Earl to the left, Earl to the right, Earl up the middle you either had a first down or punt. Now what about those Texas Longhorns. YEEE HAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!Hook em horns

Lots of good D players in that vid. LT, Singletary, Lott, lots more. That was awsome. 1/2 way thought I was thinking if they were gonna play the Thisman leg break, and Yup, right at the end.

That video just reminds us all how football used to be played and how it's "played" nowadays. No more leading with the helmet on tackles. No more helmet-to-helmet, no more clothes line or horse collars...
Oh well, at least I got to see Jack Lambert again (and Earl Campbell - used to love watching those Oilers vs. Steelers games - the Steel Curtain against Earl and Dan Pastorini - fun times).

That was great. Brings back some great memories.
Early in there's a "Necktie" tackle by #81 of the Detroit Lions on a St. Louis Cardinal receiver. That was the great Dick "Night Train" Lane. He was my heroe growing up.
I believe he still holds the season interception record.
