What happen to Billy Burger ?? Did they close because of the city??

What did the city do? I know at one time they were contemplating taxing/licensing the floating vendors but I don't believe that was ever enacted. In fact, I think the city was trying to annex the land underneath Thompson Bay so they could enforce taxes/licensing but that never happened if my memory is right.....

That sucks.. They had some GREAT burgers there! I rarely make it to Havasu, but when I did I always stopped for one.

They weren't floating, but I saw the boat over at the jet-ski ramp where all of the vendors normally park.

Billy Burger -- Billy sold it a couple of years ago - new owners unable to make a go at it.. for a vareity of reasons...
Not a city issue, not a water issue - just an owner issue.
Currently two boats on the lake with food - Mark with the blue and a red houseboat believe he calls it drop anchor..
Small pontoon with hotdogs..
Possible new one with chicken and pork wraps...
And yes in the channel - THe Channel Mini Mart... Under the Agave Inn.
Hot sandwiches include - chicago styple hot dogs, Hot Pastrami, Italian Beef,
Chicken Gyro, Chicken Breast, Polish Sausage with Egg Sandwiches, French Toast, Pancakes and Waffles for breakfast.
Call ahead and they deliver to the sea wall..... oh yes ice cream, ice, soda and water too and soon beer..

Under Barley Bros is Makai's Cafe - they have been around for years. but have kinda stopped pursuing the boaters on the water..

For the record once again, SANDBAR GRILL at the end of the parking lot island side. BEST BURGERS in town and they have BEER. Channel Islands Pastramie is the best in town, I hope Jeff appreciates the kudos :D J/K He's a good guy and deserves our support plus the food IS really good!!!!!!! NSF
