I have spent a good deal of the last three days trying to track down some parts for a 1988 Alfa Spider. I thought maybe sombody out in the rust free west might know where there is a whole junkyard full of old Alfas? Okay, I would settle for just one little tiny alfa parts car? Nobody around here speaks Italian at all. Kinda funny to watch the Auto Zone guy this morning trying to pronounce quadrifoglio.

My cousin's husband (cousin-in-law?) used to race them. Back in the 70's, I think. We went about five laps at Riverside International Raceway when the backend swapped around on us going through the esses. Took about two minutes for the dirt to clear, so we could see again. It was a blast!!! Now his son is racing a Camaro at Willow Springs and others places like that. As far as suppliers try e-bay or some-such source.

I do check ebay a lot and a lot of other sources on the web all the time, but for some reason certain parts never show up or are outrageously priced. Really what I need is access to some parts cars because there are so many little bolts and fasteners & nickle and dime parts I need that it would cost a fortune to buy them from the alfa specialist places. I figured since most of the people on here live in the dry southwest it maybe worth a shot.
You know that crazy local guy that hordes weird old foriegn cars and Volkswagons in his yard that every town seems to have? The Jessie Duke lookin guy that doesn't believe in computers or the internet and answers the door with a shotgun? Probably got a guy like that in Kingman right? Parker? :D Anyway, that's the type of guy I'm looking for right now anyway LOL :crossx:

Sweet! I will call. thanks.
Also... I noticed it looks like you have exact same blue F150 as me, except for those rims and that lightning package they must have forgot to install on mine, those bastards. Nice!

I knew that guy was out there somewhere! :) I will PM you my #. We can probably work something out. Imaginary parts don't work worth a crap, of course neither does half of the crap that Alfa made either. Imaginary wives are awesome though. :D
Thanks.
