This is one expensive month for the Tow vehicle ('03 F-350, 6.0). Took it 2 weeks ago for Oil Change, front & rear differential service, & transfer case. $225.00. Take to have the radiator flush and find out the radiator is getting plugged up and had to be replaced aswell as the thermostat. $450.00. heading back from Havi this weekend and the battery light comes on. 1st thing through my head is the damn alternator is bad. Figured there was no point in stopping now just hope to make it home in Riverside. So I make it home, go to try and start it and nothing. Go to 3 different places for an Alternator and finally find it for $300.00. Put it in charge up the batterys (before starting with new alternator) and find out they are no good aswell. so there I go again $160.00 for not 1 but 2 new batterys. Guess I wont be going to the river for a couple weeks. Hope this doesn't happen to nobody else.
