Who does it? Just bought a 32' Class A. I noticed that the launch ramps seem to be to congested to get a decent sized boat turned and backed up at Windsor. Any suggestions on the best place to launch with a 65' long load?

I have launched with out 24' Class C and it was hard because I kept losing the trailer in the mirrors. I say borrow a friends truck and launch with that. :)

It is easy if the room is there. Windsor might be tight. Towing is gravy, dont worry. My Dad and I do it with a 32' Class A as well.

I know this sounds "crazy" but.... Crazyhorse used to have a dirt lot at the top of their launch ramp. Our friends used to launch mid sized boats there. Maybe ask someone what the ramp is like now-a-days.
stay away from Lake Elsinore!!! :crossx:

I have launched with a 34' RV, usually not a problem on a longer ramp, (one that does not drop off at the water line). Important because the short wheelbase compared to the long chasis, causes the back of the boat/trailer to tilt up and possible drag the back on the ground (very bad if the prop is low)
We had a hitch on the front bumper as well, made it a lot easier

I leave the keys under the mat of my GMC C cab 4x4 and MoHo friends at Emerald know they can borrow and launch with it if need be,,, or use it to tow out a stranded MoHo on the ramp.
It's mostly for convienence so they don't have to unplug from the campsites hook-ups or un level from their campsite just to launch or retrieve.
Most Mo Ho's seem to handle it just fine, some seem to get in a pickle pulling their boats out,, but not too often.
The flater the ramp the less the hassle.

your gonna laugh at this but, I'd consider installing a hitch on the front of the coach on the passenger side, you can eyeball done the stbd side of the boat and launch without getting your rear tires wet, I've launched larger boats than your Superboat with a jeep in sand at my old marina with a front hitch setup, even with a 32 ft coach, the manuverbility is good , just a thought

I have done the front launch thing way back in the 70's when I workd at a marina. That's what the RV store recomended also. I was worried about the lenght of the launch ramp area's, but everyone here says it's not a problem. :rollside:

I have been able to launch at every campground we have stayed at with our 31' Class A Motorhome Parker and Havasu. We even squeezed in at Site 6 but it wasn't that busy.

UPDATE I launched at Windsor with no problem getting the boat in the water. However, they told me I was too long and don't come back!!!! :argue: I even was escorted by the ranger to park way down by the channel. What's up with this bull. Am I the only rig like this in Havasu???
