I had an engine problem that was causing alot of black soot on the transom as you can see. It was actually quite disturbing,and i was not happy about how bad it was.

OUCH, what else did it do or is it just a valve job?? :frown: NSF PS just a failure or ?????

I never found out what caused the failure but it had been that way for a little while as you can see from the build up on it.It warrented a complete rebuild.At least they are both fresh now,the other engine was just rebuilt in the spring so theres maybe 4 hours on it.
