We have a 2005 Enforcer and love it.
Tons of extras in a great riding boat that is a true 28'.We have the HO and see around 60-64 MPH with a pretty full load.
The Magics amd Sleeks are built at the same location so there is no difference in build quality.

you won't get a better/bigger boat for the same $$.

I don't believe there is a stich of difference in the build between the two. They obviously would use the same materials and the same peeps are building both boats, so I don't see how there could be. Maybe I am wrong, though.
I am real happy with mine. Solid build, timeless styling, and still a little under-priced. It is my opinion that one can get alot of boat for the money here.
If you are not opposed to used, there is a real clean '01 28 Enforcer with a blue-motor for low $50k. That's an easy way to have a 500HP EFI for less than a new one with HO.

What kind of pricing goes with one of these 28' Enforcers? $100K+?

OOOOOh, no! Cole Trickle would know the fairly current pricing, but I just checked a 30'er like mine at the boat show this year. 'Bout $105K.
New 28 Enforcer w/HO should be around high $70K to low $80K on a good deal. A few years ago, Darrin would have sold me one for 65K plus tax.

Enforcer is 26 and 28 feet.
Full length strakes, non-step.
Bolt-on trio of swim steps.
Heritage is 26, 30, 32, 34
Serpentine double-stepped hull.
Moulded swim step
26 does not have windshield.
Interior is essentially the same in both boats.
All sleeks come with standard electric drop-bolsters.

Here's a good shot of the swim steps I mentioned. You can see the difference between mine and this.

And you can see the steps pretty clear on this 30. Compare to the side view of the first pic you posted at the top.

I like the bolt on steps.....but I would prefer a stepped hull
Thanks for the info....

The 28 Enforcer has been called one of the most efficient non-stepped hulls ever made. Excellent family hull with offshore capability. I wouldn't be afraid of it. I crawled through a few, but we had firmly decided we wanted moulded swimstep.

with all of the kids we have on ours, a moulded step is one less thing to worry about. Outdrives and jumping

Well, there's that, but I just like the look. I think boats look more "finished" if the swimstep is an integral part of the mold. The wife and I both thought bolted looked afterthought-ish.
Also, she likes to lay on the engine cover and the step gives that area to plant your feet. It just works for us, but everyone is different.

If I didnt' already have mine, I would be down there looking this one over. If it is clean, I would give me left one for it. Talk about equipped! Whippled bluemotor, tabs, steering! I would bet $60K could take it.

Is this on thier website?? I didn't see it.
I might be worried about a used Whippled motor....that can wear down an engin fast.

Yes, on their website, toward the bottom of that foot range. Been there awhile.
I wouldn't worry about a fairly low hour (say, up to 300) whippled BLUE MOTOR, since they are built to handle most anything. If it was a reg mag or 496, I would be cautious. It doesn't say the hourage, but if you looked at it, I am sure they would plug into the ECM so you could see the exact hours.
I never thought about the insurance. Mine's not bad at all with 425HP, but adding 300 to that would probably raise some eyebrows.

Yes..... It is an awesome boat that is in great shape. The boat is sold now and won't be on the website much longer. The 28' enforcer didn't do a whole lot for me until I drove one for the first time in Dec. Mr. Harley's cousin bought one from me and when we took it out on a demo, I was hooked. Even in the cold windy weather, I didn't want to head back in. Tim is a great guy also so if you have any more questions don't hesitate to give him a call.
