Hay guys, im glade to have found this forum. I believe it will be quite helpfull with my newly aquired boat. Iv been looking for a good forum with others that have the same old boat i have, i see quite a few topics on tahiti's.
Just thought i would introduce myself. I live in Las Vegas, NV i go to Mead Mohove and the Colorado. Iv had my boat for about 6 months now, its been alot of fun when im not working. Im self emp. i own an online Remote Control retail shop, which does Boats, Cars, and Trucks.
Great Forum!
Anyone wanna party?
Thanks

Nitro Powered for the most part. We have some boats that run on reg. fuelies. and i think 2 offroad trucks that run on them too. The rest are powerd by Nitromethain and Methonal. We do mostly off road 4x4 trucks. But the demand for 1/5 scale model of your life-size boat, is quickly on the rise.
I just sent out a custom 68'' V hull with twin .32ci Nitro powerd engines (aprox 7 hp depending on fuel) that the customer said would outrun his twin 502's on glass.
Mead is popular with RC boats. We have ran a couple shows out there.

I have a Traxxis with a .15 that runs almost 30mph but i would like to get a fuelie. They are weed eater motors right? Oh, and members get discounts just so you know.;)

ya, man i can get you what you want. Send me a msg with what your looking for and i can give you the member discount, you just have to show me around to some good lakes for my new 1:1 scale boat :)
Its going to be in the shop for the weekend, im getting some new seats put in with our company logo.
Yes, fuelys are the look-alike of weed eater engines. however they are built a bit differently. Zenoa makes a nice engine that i run in my Shockwave 55''. its amazing the double-takes you get when someone sees a mini boat of the same kind screaming right beside your boat.
Im glade to become a part of the forum as i restore my boat. Iv already found some very usefull things. But wheres the hangout for Lake Mead!!!!!!!!!
