Okay guru's, I can use some help. I have an Alpine 9851 with the ipod adapter in my truck. My wife got me a sirius sportster replay for christmas, along with a car kit. The car kit I will use in my honda (total stock stereo).
I would like to add the sirius to the truck also. Since the Alpine is satelite ready, is there a special kit I need for that or will the regular car kit work? Does it hook up like the Ipod adapter?
Also, where is the best place to hook up the antena (sp?) in a dodge ram and a honda accord?
Do I need the marine kit for the boat, or will a car kit work?
Thanks in advance.
Robert

Thanks SWB. Are those SIRALP 1 recievers easy to find? Meaning, do I need to go to a stereo shop or will Best Buy work? Since I'm an electronic retard, I still need to hook up the satelite antenna, right?
My Honda is a 2002 Accord SE. Like I said, all stock, AM/FM with a CD player (and casette too).

Is the factory deck a cd changer controller as well?

I'm not sure, but I don't think so. The accord is an SE (special edition) and it did not come with the stereo upgrade that the EX comes with. The face of the HU gives no appearance that it would have a changer. About the only button that doesn't look familiar is a random button.
Sorry it's taken all day to post. I'm not able to check the website at work. :yuk:
