How's this boat coming along? Are the molds done yet? Got a buddy that's been waiting a while, first he thought it would be done by the boat show, then Memorial and now 4th of July. From what he's said, it's gonna be a kick arse boat and doesn't mind the wait.
Just wondering how long into summer I'm gonna have a boat bitch. :rollside:

Stopped by Shockwave today Plug looks great, think its going to be great. Beer storage is endless. Plenty of room for a keg. Selling the 29 for a boat with more beer capacity. Plenty of room for everyone and the pole dancers. the misses may object but oh well. we are # 6 on the list alot of Boat for the price. Now we have to work out the graphics, how about a little help brothers. :)

Hooker If I had your money I would have Bob build a deckboat for Havasu and a 34 for for big blue. Either way I'm sure you get a great boat. :rollside:

I would not rule that out. I do like the idea of twin 700's and we are not done with Havasu yet we love the salt water. Bob makes a great boat and having two would be awsome. :)

Really the deckboat makes the best sense for us. We thought the 34 would be great but were not ready to give up on Lake Havasu to go full offshore like you and Scott. The 29 is an easy sell and I can't wait. Bob is giving a killer deal on the first 10 deck boats and it seems like a no brainer. :) :)
You gotta be kidding me... we stopped by Thursday afternoon on the way to Havasu and Yvette couldn't stop talking about getting the deck boat instead of the 34... I like the idea of the 34 with twin 700's, but after seeing the plug, the Wife said "that's us, and we still love the lakes".. I'm thinking the new 28 with say a 600 would be a nice setup. And you're dead on about the deals... the price on the first 10 is insane... reminds me of what Bob did on the first Cats. Keep your fingers crossed, looks like I may have a buyer and I may just jump ahead of you :cool: But as Mad Props pointed out, you got more $$ than I...

The pictures do not do the size of this boat justice.. it is absolutely huge inside and the lines are incredible, while still maintaining that sleek Shockwave look...
BTW, if anyone was interested the first 10 deckboats Bob is doing are going somewhere between 80-85K loaded. That is absolutely insane... just ask the first 5-8 guys that bought the Cat, they still have that smile plastered on their face...

I'm doing good, may see you Saturday Night at the boat show, we have a party at 2:00 then we will pick Yvette up and go out there, Gary is taking some boats out there right now. I am trying to get him to go to the Lake on Sunday with B-Felter so we can ride on the boat before he sells it. I miss the lake it's been months since we were there and with the wedding and all we cant get out there. I want to go, if he doesn't I may go just with Brenda.

So what is the starting price on the first 10 with what package Miguel, how's it going? I talked to Bob and the first 10 he is rolling out between 80-85K with the HO, why the range? Well you know Bob, he has an idea but hasn't nailed it down just yet. And you know how Bob is, those will be loaded with all the little "bells and whistles" that most people want, but don't want to pay for... I saw it on Saturday and it's huge with a ton of room.. BTW, it's now down to the next 6.... 4 already gone.

Plug is now completely covered as they finish the mold... First hull should be out end of June-early July. The plug pics on page two are the only ones I had on my camera...

I had heard they tried to pull a mold already, but something came out bad or wrong the first time. What went wrong?
Someone talked Bob into using a different wax on the plug and it popped early, and by doing so the "non-skid" is destroyed in the process. He replaced the non-skid went back to his old wax and now has it curing..

Somewhat close, Bob actually pulled it from the tooler.. They were way behind schedule with many excuses, he brought it back in house and now he's on his new schedule... As Bob said, lesson learned...
BTW, after talking to Bob there were alot of people that went by the show yesterday to see some of the new posters he has there on the 28 Deckboat..

Hey Dave - doing well here - Just trying to find some time to run the boat with some 5 blade hydromotive props and see how they work....
Actually, I won't need to worry about getting whipples to pass Bad Voodoo.. Once he gets superchillers, his drives will be popping like the popcorn in his microwave!!! :cry: :) :rollside:

Just spoke with my buddy that is supposed to get the first boat out of the mold. He's bumming big time, won't get a boat until mid to late August. Poor guy has been paying for a monthly spot at Crazyhorse since May in anticipation of getting his new boat, already sold the old one. Summer will be over and duning season will be in full swing by the time he gets it.
What happened to the molds this time?
