I'm having some fun with old DMB in the other post, but I would openly like to appreciate some of my favorite boats and models...anyone who cares to share answer these 2 questions
1. I have a .....
2. If I didnt have my boat...... I would consider a?
1.me....DCB Mach 26
2. I really like the looks of the Eliminator 28LP with twin small blocks.....Or I think the Magic 28' Cat has VERY sweet lines but don't know if it could accept twins.... The spectre 30' is in my opinion the best used or new buy on the market ! you can buy a well made 2-3 year old light 30' with twins for under well under 100k..... amazing! by the way I'm definitely not ruling out DCB's 28' canopy when it comes out next year...hopefully Dave will be highly competitive when Im ready hehehe!
so what would you other Cat owners be looking at today if you had the itch?

Going down today to see what Magic will give me for my Cheetah in trade on a 28 Cat. Test drove one last weekend and was impressed with the total package. I figure most cats in this size range will ride about the same so it comes down to construction, family ammenities and styling for me. Sounds strange when talking about a cat but the big swim deck ended up becoming a key factor in the decision. Twins (well twin motors at least) are well out of my price range so a single is it for me. Actually my real twins are out of my price range too but that's already a done deal, no taking them back now! http://free.***boat.net/ubb/wink.gif

ps: I will ask them today if it will accept twins and let you know. There is plenty of room under hatch, only question is whether they are willing to modify the stringers.

but I'd like a DCB 26 Mach w/500EFI
Been riding around with to many of my Cat buddys, getting used to the nice ride!
If I had the coin, I wouldn't rule out a 28 Daytona, that one in the ***boat classifieds with twin 454MPIs got me thinking.

Right now I have a DCB Mach 26 with twin 300 pro maxs.
Sometime soon I will be upgrading to a DCB Mach 34. I love the lines of the 34, and you can't go wrong with the canopies. As far as power, Dave wants me to put twin Teague 620's....I really want Twin teague 800's. You'll see it in havasu soon enough...

I've got Fri. off, and we should be at the Sandbar by noon! I'm staying at Queens bay at least until they throw us out. That sounds like a gonga for you Skater, but momma thinks 65 is plenty fast, remember? is your boat fast enough to go like this?
See ya this weekend

Nice to see that most of us are happy with the make we currently own. I couldn't help but notice the majority of us would stay with the same builder if given the chance we would all just like to go bigger. My self I currently own a 25 warlock that I just dropped a shitload of money into to rebuild the engine.(still not done but getting close)
I think if Money wasn't an object I would have to jump ship and seriously look at the 26 or 28 Eliminator with the canopies. Saw one at the L.A. boat show I would be willing to trade my warlock for.
I like Warlock but do to all the changing and moving they have been going through I don't think I would want to buy a new boat from them at this time.

Good luck with a deal on the 28, it's a sweeeeeeeeet boat!! Hopefully we'll be part of the Magic family for next spring with a 29 vee.

Yup that was probably us, guess I should have been paying attention! We had been out on the 850hp deckboat just to get an idea of the ride, but then wanted to check out the interior of the Cat and talk about cabin options. Shoot, that's too bad I didn't realize it was you, woulda been cool to chat with you guys. Numbers look pretty good on the deal but now we have to decide if we're really ready for the commitment!

22' Schiada (vee of course)
If Schiada ever made a cat (which I doubt) I would love to get it!! But I will most likely be getting an HTM SR-24 in the near future. I will probably keep it pretty simple with a 496 HO (but an HP 500 would be all I need)

I currently own an HTM SS-24 that is for sale and I also own a 30' Spectre.
My next boat will be a 36' Flat Deck Skater with a pair of 1300 H.P. blower motors (Steerling) or turbine powered.
