Dont know if this holds true for the Pleasant but in Hot Spots West there is a thread about Bartlett & Saguarro being deserted????? Are they close to one another? Hard to believe because Havasu is absolutely Jammed  NSF

I'm staying away this weekend. Between the wind and the crouds I want no part of it.

My family went to Arizona to the house in Prescott... Certain weekends are not meant to be... for me anyway. This is the weekend all the rookies go out, become invincible and hurt others. Even the experienced people get affected by these actions.
but.... See yall next weekend!!!!!!

I think he is hanging out in his hot tub--with the boys---
I just talked to a friend on the lake and they say it is not bad, so I am heading out as soon as the old lady is ready.

Just talked to a friend who on the lake right now. He says it is really windy and it was packed yesterday. As far as weather or not they closed the lake he doesn't know, he was on the water at 9am and stayed the night.

Great day on the lake today, no big wait to get on, although I did have a bit of a walk to park. Getting off the lake was only about a 15 min. wait. Water was great only crowded at humbug.

Bit of a hike from the 10 lane to parking, yikes!!! Other than that, the sheriff's had their hands full with people trying to Darwin themselves out of the gene pool. Lots of sea-doos out after dark railing around with no lights on. Rookie day at the ramp as well. We only went as far back in Humbug as the houseboats that were rafted up. Further back than that looked like a nightmare. Thanks but no thanks.

It was apparently rookie day Sunday! Everyone who has never operated a boat was out yesterday. My favorite was the two girls who buzzed through humbug at like 40mph on a seadoo for about an hour........I finally got caught up to them when they fell off and told them to slow down because it was a no wake zone and we didn't need any help getting the sherriff out there......they looked at each other with a perplexed look on their faces and one of them said it is! Hard to tell with all the buoys and 300+ boats all at idle.................

As soon as we hit the ramp, there was one guy getting a ticket for riding a sea doo without a life vest, and at least 25 people on a malibu who couldn't understand why that would be a problem..

We were out on saturday, it was pretty busy in Humbug because of the wind. Alot of people that didn't understand what "No Wake" is, but no real excitement from where we were. When we left, is was white capping clear into Humbug, and the main part of the lake had about 2' chop. The south launch ramp at the marina wasn't too bad.
