Is anybody on here a Notary? If so, do you enjoy it and do it because you want to or as a requirement for your employer? I am thinking about it and just curious. Thanks, Nick

Nick - I'm NOT a notary but have a couple of friends that are and it seems to be a pretty cool way to pick up some extra coin for very little effort. Easy class and test to take and you're all set.

My wife was a notory in Nevada. She would notorize mortgage docs for people that didnt want to wait over the weekend. Make about 200-250 for driving a little and stamping. Pretty good gig. The first job will pay for the bond.

My wife is getting hers now. 100-150 for doing 10 minutes of work is gravy.

OT is always there but I am looking for somthing a little different. Nobody on our Dept. does it and it seems like a useful cert. to have.

I am a notary but for work only. I do simple acknowledgements. It is OK. I would do it for extra cash, if I had the time. You can only charge the set amount for certain things but you can charge up the boot-a for mileage, delivery, etc. The only thing that sux is writer's cramp, but like most guys, I'm sure your hands are well exercized. :crossx: :crossx:

He can do it during all the free time at the fire house. Instruct the customers to come to the back gate.

It's against dept. policy to get any other income while on the clock unless on A/L. Sorry, no station calls. The class is June 7th and I think the wife and I are going to do it together. Let us know TCE and we could make a trip up before you move. We need to come up there anyway to hang out. Did Brett do the pictures? If so, how do they look. TCN
