I've been getting a lot of PMs asking about the new 26 Shadow deck. Here are some shots right out of the mold today. The boat is bonded yet, but it gives you an idea of what it will look like. Yes, it can take twin outboards.

I'll post some more pictures tomorrow when it's bonded. I took these when I stopped by the shop on my way home from the river.
This boat is for stock and will be done in two weeks (I hope) to be at the Pomona show. Then it will be at Havasu for the regatta. It is going to have a 496 Ho in it. I would like to see low to mid 70's with the HO, but we'll see.
I don't know the price yet, I have to build one to see how much it's going to cost to produce. I'm planning on doing a few for under 90K to get some out there.
I've already got one on order with 1100 hp and a Weismann drive. Should run pretty good.
The reason I went with a 26 is the market is pretty much covered for the 28' range. I wanted something a little smaller and lower profile. We'll see how it works out.

I am sooooooooooo happy with my boat but when I see how sweet these things are you are coming up with it almost gives me that itch....... Whatever you do don't let me drive that thing at the regatta or Amber might have to beat you up...

Ultra 28:I think your reason for a 26 is Damn smart and it is good lookin no doubt, keeping the lower profile makes it. After seeing the 25 Dominator on the water (I thought the 25 was a good size also) it appears rather "stubby" with its higher profile and not as appealing, at least to me. NSF

You know Magic and Conquest are basically 26' bottoms and they count swim step to get the 28'.

Speaking of Travis screwing up. On Tuesday the kid locked my keyes in my truck while detailing it. AAA couldn't get it open, finally got Dodge to come out and open it.
A couple of weeks ago he forgot to latch down a trailer to the fork lift ball, when the trailer popped off he jumped off the forklift to stop the trailer, forgeting to put the forklift in park. So I my father in-laws truck is in the body shop getting the whole side of it repaired.
I'll post pictures of everything as it comes along. I want it on the wtaer by next Wednesday so I can see how it performs before the boat show.

Yeah, on this one we did.
We are giving the choice of the standard Merc, the dual handle Livorsi, or the In-Control. Most of the people so far have opted for the In-Control. If I would have tooled in the spot for the dual controls, then we wouldn't have been ablt to offer the In-Control. So if the customer wants the Livorsi shifter/throttle, then we will do the sperate pod. This set up allows us a lot more flexability on seat and throttle placement. What's comfortable for one person might not be so comfortable for another.

Here are some shots as of tonight. It's almost done (Well at least enough done enough to get it to the show) Still a lot of work to do after the boat show.
Ran it tonight. 496 Mag HO 77MPH with light gas and only two people at 5200 rpm labbed 26 (yes thats on radar). Should do about 70 to 72 with a full load and a 24p prop.

Looks awesome John, absolutely love the lines. Is it considered a Deck boat or a Cat? Just wondering how it will be insured. What's the sticker for the way this one is set-up???
For you Barry just "Sticker Shock"... :D I think he said $89,900 for the 1st few with this set up...

It's a deck boat. Insurance shouldn't be too bad on it. I'm trying to see how low I can get the price on them. Probably going to introduce the first few for $89,900 for now. Of course there is always special pricing for Hot Boat Forum members, just give me a call.

I'll take three. Will pay you cash tomorrow. Make one match the Stealth and and the other two whatever you wish but not F bombs or middle fingers. :D

Was worth a try! I was ready to go find a 24 hour bank. Can't wait to see this thing at the regatta.

I wonder if, before selling Jesse's boat, UltraJohn got tired of hearing, "Boy... you guys really focked this one up."

That is one good lookin boat :D The mph figure is really something, thats about 7mph on me with same setup except the prop (Bravo 1, 24P). For me I still like the molded in swimstep and walkthru though (I'm old) on my Magic but for the younger crowd it sure looks like a WINNER to me. Great job :) NSF

Thanks, I always wondered about that  After sittin on a piece of equipment for the last 30 years or so and being too tired at nite to do anything but eat, tv and then sleep I just never learned much about puter's.
Did you consider a walk thru for the transom or would that be a nightmare with no molded swimstep, thats the only drawback for me, otherwise it's HOT!! NSF

We are going to be offering three different inner liners. Two of which will have the walk offf the back. One walk off the back with a 3/4 bench wrap to the passenger seat, the other with a 3/4 bench wrapped to the dash. Our bottom design has the drive too high to allow for a full length molded step, but I am working on some different step ideas for the back.

Gotta be a production nightmare (or mold problem) but you are certainly thinking the right way, I'll give you that. And in the very competitive deckboat market you have to be ahead of the game, Again, KUDOS :D NSF
